     The target audience of my project was Canadian citizens of all ages. My project was on the Canadian famous cafe and bakery, Tim Horton’s. The unique selling point of my project was the using Canadian symbols to sell to the patriotic customers of Tim Horton’s. Both of the characters I designed are canadian symbols, the moose and the beaver. The moose is the mascot I designed for the company. He is designed using the goofy character type to make the character look more friendly and approachable. He is wearing a Tim Horton’s hockey jersey which also Canadian symbol. In the storyboard, the beaver wakes up and gets ready and heads off to work but he is tired, cranky and falling asleep at work when the Tim Horton’s moose comes over and hands the beaver a nice fresh cup of Tim Horton’s coffee. The beaver is then able to carry on with his day happily and productively. The storyboard is meant to show that nothing makes your day better than a cup of Tim Horton’s coffee as the beaver is not having a good day before he has his coffee. The billboard advertisement I designed has the Tim Horton’s logo and slogan with the two characters designed for the company. With them is a giant donut covered in little maple leaf sprinkles. This again brings back the unique selling point of the Canadian owned company with the Canadian themed donut. The function of the ad is to call to the proud Canadian citizens to their favorite cafe and bakery.
